I think it's doable. The problem is, finding a decent team build to do it.
The counter part is that this build probably (like many others) wont work for every profession, which means that Anguish will see a lot of the same ppl with the same professions :S

OMG I can't beat an area that was just opened today ANet sux0r

grow up people and learn to play, people wanted a challenging area, more than what we have had before and when it is produced people start crying because they gave it a couple of hours, mostly in PuGs, trying and dying.

Learn from your mystics, learn your enemies and move on. This is NOT impossible, the group I was in was able to take out about 3 of the groups after a few changes to builds and such, yes it was hard but I can guarntee that after awhile group builds for this area will start to appear and strategies will be formed.

It says "Elite Mission" right when you walk in the door, don't expect it to be a day at The North Gate, this is what people have asked for, maybe not all but some and this is what those people got. If you don't like it, do something you do like, you can still buy the items off of people who do learn to do it.

All I can say is aptly named, I'm in anguish from my last hour of trying to kill 1 mob...though I did manage to get that done. However, I think the 2nd mob was out for blood after that, cause I didn't last long.

Having a ranger I switched to trapper.Seems to be a demand for them.
I am just curious why Anet set this up this way.Are they looking to push certain builds only?Certain classes?
To get the RIT you need to do certain mission. So are they doing it so only so many people can have the hero?
What really interest me is getting the Rit but if the hero is only good for after you beat the game then it is a waste.I like to use my heroes through out the game. That is the fun part for me.
Also just a note:Someone mentioned something about people being anti social because they did hero/hench thru the game.It could be because they were tired of dealing with prima donnas and leets you run into in pugs. They always seem to be the first to bail out or go afk in pugs I been in.Anyhow that is mach nix ...you buy games for fun...so have fun...oh well
I agree with you 100% if people were such flakes and bail half way through a mission as a bunch of monks i've seen if someone dies early all of a sudden uh oh. this group sucks time to bail.. then people wouldn't be complaining about it.. I like going through the game "occationally" joining up with a group but i don't want to feel compelled to do it.

I don't know why Anet does things specifically for certain classes or builds.. u'd figure a nice well rounded group (meaning every class) ina group would do better than having say 5 bp's 1 mm 2 monks and 1 rit. or something like that.. what about the other classes.. if they suck that bad and can't do the mission why did Anet make the classes to begin with.

Iv’e died so many times it’s pathetic but I still laugh. All ive been doing latly here is primary chest runs, it seems the only prductive thing you can do (and the rewards have been exelent). Thank you A-team.
Hey I teamed with you for a while! (Me = Hylian Nightmare). We got owned a few times by that first group than tried out chest running which actually provided us with some very nice drops. Though I am currently farming for some more money for keys

Its got nothing to do with beating the area. It has to do with not being able to kill the 1st group of mobs. Or the fact most if not all the mobs can kill you and your whole party in less than 5 seconds. Or the groups are so large and so close together you have no chance of pulling just one group. And so and so forth. I'm all for a challange. But this IS just STUPID. Now maybe stupidly hard missions are fun for a few people but the vast majorty don't like them. I'm all for challange but the whole party geting wiped in seconds is NOT fun or a challange its just STUPID.

From what I've heard it sounds like they got the name confused, DoA should mean Death on Arrival, not Domain of Anguish..

Haven't stopped in yet, but remember when Tombs first opened. It took a while for people to figure out how to get through it. Stop expecting to blaze through this place within the first few hours. Nobody is that good. And it'll take a while before we all know what skills are necessary.

From how challenging it sounds, I might just wait for someone to post a decent build and then go with guildies. Don't really feel like wasting my time dying right now :/

Yes we tried B/p. Maybe it does work, but it didn't work for us lol. Well, I have to say, we got the furthest by using b/p. We managed to kill 2 and a half mobs. This place is really hard, I mean really hard. I still am gonna keep playing tonight so I can be among the first, that's always important lol.

Razah should have no prerequisites. No other hero in the game requires prerequisites. It's absolutely asinine.

Went in with a guild group, experienced people, nice round balanced build and went down in 15 secs. Does it really have to be this way?

Thank you, ANet, for a wonderful, nasty, devilish challenge.

I'm just glad my first character thru the game was a Ranger. Now I have incentive to push my necro through as well...

i believe i'm not the only one thinking all of this is barely bulls**t, if you wished to be praised for pretending that, i guess all you barely deserve is about the opposite.

even players with above average "skills" can easily tell those places are at least as tough as previous elite missions Anet made before (i'd honestly say it's tougher actually).

even "hardcore" gamers spent a few weeks training together to get through some elite missions such as the deep with less people than required, so hell yeah, i firmly believe no one should have already got it done... with heroes only, which you're telling you did, barely a few hours after this content has been released.

L2lie kthxbye.
